Position Title: Business Resilience Risk Officer

Job Summary:

• To assist in the development and management of strategies in controlling business continuity risks resulting to inadequate and failed internal processes, people and systems or from external events.

Role Exposure:

• Develops and implements risk practices, standards, technologies and policies for managing operational risk related to business continuity.


• Participates in the assessment and evaluation of policies, standards, plans and other issues related to business continuity management.


• Assists in managing high-risk strategic projects, products and markets on operational risk which are related on business continuity.


• Gathers, measures and analyzes data on operational risk which are related on business continuity.


• Reviews Business Continuity documentation (e.g., Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plan, etc.).


• Reviews adequacy of existing operational controls of the different units of the Bank to mitigate operational risk which are related to business continuity.


• Liaises with other units of the Bank on their operational risk management plans and practices which are related to business continuity.


• Maintains related operational risk databases related to business continuity incidences (e.g., risk event database, risk register, fraud incidences, operational and internal control lapses).


• Ensures accurate and timely reporting of operational losses related to business continuity risk-related measures.


• Tracks and reports corrective actions done by concerned units related to the resolution of operational risk issues related to business continuity.


• Updates operational risk manuals (e.g., Operational Risk Management Framework, Project Risk Management, Business Continuity Program, etc.).


• Participates in the development and implementation of Business Continuity Management training programs


• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics.


• Have strong analytical skills with ability to break down problems into doable tasks


• Must be able to drive actionable insights through data analysis


• Experience in R or Python is an advantage
