Job Description - Business Services Manager

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Are you a skilled and inclusive team leader with a demonstrable experience for developing people and enabling individuals and teams to achieve their goals? Are you ready for the challenge of taking our business services to the next level? Then you could be the new Business Services Manager for our Copenhagen office, where you and your team will support the ongoing growth and success of BCG.

As our new Business Services Manager, you will lead a team of Executive and Management Assistants, as well as Facilities and Reception staff in our highly accolated office in Carlsberg Byen. Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that all aspects of our Business Services function run like clockwork. You will work closely with the senior leadership team in the office, the Copenhagen Business Director, and global internal stakeholders. Your daily tasks will include:

* Managing team members, including recruiting, onboarding, annual career development process, salary and personnel administration, leadership, culture & affiliation
* Managing our facilities and landlord relations, supervising all facility management and maintenance processes, and running office design/expansion/renovation projects that ensure our offices are inclusive and accessible to all
* Managing vendors and potentially budgeting and cost controlling related to office operations in cooperation with the Copenhagen Business Director and Finance

YOU'RE GOOD AT

To this end, you use your diplomatic communication skills and lead by example as a visible leader to overcome roadblocks and handle change effectively.
You are most probably also:

* Good at interacting with all levels of seniority internally and externally
* A strong team player with experience in leading a sizeable services team with an emphasis on motivating, empowering and inspiring your team
* Pragmatic, good at organizing and improvising, and handling stressful situations in a positive spirit
* Able to perform successfully and produce results in a fast-paced, intellectually driven, and client-oriented environment

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
To succeed in this role, you already have some years of management experience to your name, where you’ve developed your excellent stakeholder management skills and inspiring leadership style. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in facility/office management as well as substantial leadership experience, preferably within the Assistant Coordinator role.

You’re a strong role model who leads others with a high degree of integrity and empathy. It is important that you have excellent skills in using MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Additionally, full proficiency in written and oral English is required.

YOU'LL WORK WITH
Our Operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and management assistants, receptionists, facilities staff, and a Business Services Manager who leads the entire Operations Team.
