JOB OVERVIEW

• The Business Solutions and Analytics Manager (BSAM) will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes within our organization. He/She will be responsible for designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and performance trends. Additionally, BSAM will collaborate closely with Business Unit Heads and Department Heads to gather insights on performance trends and targets and prepare reports for presentation to the Board, Execom, Different Councils, and Committees. Your role will involve providing regular updates to the Office of the President and CEO (OPCEO) and stakeholders on business performance and analytics insights.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.DASHBOARD AND REPORTING

• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and performance trends.
• Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to create intuitive and insightful dashboards for various stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to OPCEO and stakeholders on business performance and analytics insights.

2.DATA ANALYSIS AND INSIGHTS

• Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Heads and Department Heads to understand reasons behind performance trends and targets not being met.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve business performance, enhance customer experience, and drive operational efficiency.

3.STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

• Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments to understand their analytics needs and priorities. Collaborate with OPCEO and business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive strategic initiatives and business outcomes.
• Coordinate and align with Business Unit Heads and Department Heads to gather relevant information and insights for reporting purposes.
  
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports and updates on the Dashboard.

4.REPORTING PREPARATION

• Prepare reports and presentations for Board meetings, Execom meetings, Different Councils, and Committees.
• Ensure that reports are comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the specific needs of each audience.

5.PERFORMANCE MONITORING

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance against targets and objectives.
• Proactively identify areas of concern or opportunities for improvement based on analytics insights.

6.COMMUNICATIONS AND UPDATES

• Provide regular updates and insights to the OPCEO and stakeholders on business performance and analytics findings.
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, facilitating informed decision-making.

7.ANALYTICS DEVELOPMENT Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with OPCEO goals and objectives. Identify opportunities to leverage data analytics to drive business value and competitive advantage.

8.SOLUTION DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop analytics solutions tailored to specific business needs. Oversee the end-to-end implementation of analytics projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and quality standards.

9.BUSINESS PROCESS OPTIMIZATION Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data analysis. Work closely with stakeholders to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and drive cost savings.

10.CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business analytics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance analytical capabilities, processes, and tools within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in business analytics, data visualization, solution development, or a related role.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in reporting and analysis.
• Experience in project management and stakeholder coordination and management skills is a plus.
