ABOUT THE ROLE

An Australia-based engineering company, known for decades of innovation in automotive solutions, is seeking a CAD Solution Engineer (SolidWorks) to join their experienced team.

The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in sheet metal and tube design within the automotive industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop & provide fabrication documentation
• Maintain/update CAD library incl. Product revision control
• Computer Aided Design (CAD) incl. digitalisation of sample products
• Solution Engineering Development & Review (Pre-production)
• New & existing product design & development

Other Responsibilities:

• Documentation of Technical Support & Knowledge
• Continuous design improvement

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity
• Detail-oriented, organised with the ability to handle ongoing projects
• Minimum 3 yrs experience with advanced Solidworks
• Expert in Solidworks creating parts, assemblies, design tables and drawings
• Confidence and ability to effectively communicate well with customers and colleagues
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Good time management and prioritising skills to complete tasks within a business environment
• Logical and effective problem solver
• Willingness to learn and positive attitude
