CELL LEADER I
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Cell Leader (CL) directly reports to the Production Area Manager. S/He will ensure that load/demand, processes, equipment, and manpower are appropriately planned, coordinated, and monitored to keep the work center /team going thereby meeting SQDCL/SQWD targets in an atmosphere of mutual trust and confidence. This position shall assess the area of responsibility and ensure good housekeeping and safe working conditions. The CL is expected to identify robust corrective action and facilitate closure of all items assigned to him/her by using appropriate management tools. S/he shall manage the performance of the team/cell and each team member in following company policy, procedures, and schedules on performance management. This includes goal setting, capability building e.g. training and certification, performance monitoring (i.e. metrics, feedback, correction, and improvement), formal appraisals, and rewards. Towards this end leads the cell's coaching team in IDP assessments, training programs, and recommendations for promotions along the job family career path. It is the CL's responsibility to lead team/cell members in the LMS journey and to ensure process discipline within the team.
This role will require someone who has a great focus on quality and can demonstrate a Zero-Defect Mindset where he/she will commit to doing things right the first time, every time; creating a work environment where nearly right and good enough are not acceptable.
