Job Description - Chef de Partie, Mangrove Café

  • Assign, in detail, specific duties to all employees for efficient kitchen operation.
  • Visually inspect, select, and use only the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, fowl, and other products of the highest standard.
  • Perform supportive functions as assigned; percentage of time spent depends on operational needs.
  • Read and use math skills to follow recipes for the assigned section.
  • Control and manage food waste within the assigned section and the kitchen in general.
  • Be hands -on in training and assigning tasks to junior chefs.


    • Requirements

  • Degree in Culinary Arts
  • At least 1 year in the same position in a high‑end establishment
  • Able to handle last‑minute VIP client requests
  • Expertise in food product, presentation, quality, preparation, and menu concept/design
  • Patience and skill in training junior staff effectively
