DUTIES

The Chief Baker is responsible for the administration, operation, inter-departmental relations, communication, cost / control, hygiene & cleanliness, quality, standards, supervision, manning, staffing, training and employee relations. He/she is to implement all standardized procedures, rules and regulations systematically to be in line with hotel standards and policies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an international luxury hotel, restaurant or bakery in the same capacity.


• Must be up to date with new culinary trends available in the market.


• Strictly enforces HACCP guidelines throughout department.


• Fluent in oral and written English.


• Creative and with an eye for details.


• Excellent interpersonal skills.


• Positive disposition towards work.


• Motivator, self-starter and a team-builder.  Displays strong leadership within the team.


• Displays initiative and commitment to professional values.
