Compliance & Risk (Banking & Financial Services)

The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) shall be responsible for overseeing the risk management function and shall support the board of directors in the development of the risk appetite and risk appetite statement of the BSFI and for translating the risk appetite into a risk limits structure. The CRO shall likewise propose enhancements to risk management policies, processes, and systems to ensure that the BSFI's risk management capabilities are sufficiently robust and effective to fully support strategic objectives and risk-taking activities.

• Develop and oversee the risk management systems of the Bank including credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, business continuity, information technology risk (including reviewing on a regular basis the Bank's core banking system to ensure accuracy and completeness of data), and social media risk.
• Regularly update and improve the Expected Credit Loss model of the Bank
• Run stress test scenarios as required by the BSP and management
• Hire and train the staff / officers as required by the Bank
• Identify training programs relevant to compliance and risk management
