Scope & Responsibilities:

• Making outbound calls to potential customers and pitching general insurance products like Motor, Travel, and Critical Illness, etc.
• Get well-versed with all the products, benefits, offerings, and unique selling points.
• Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer requirements and pitch relevant products.
• Use calling scripts to provide information about products’ features, pricing, and present benefits.
• Close sales and lead customers through the purchasing process.
• Keep a record of every customer interaction and ensure adherence to each sales follow-up.
• Ensure complete adherence to calling and quality SOPs.
• Meet and exceed sales targets set by the organization.
• Stay updated with market trends to better serve customers.

Required Qualifications:

• Hold a 4-year degree in any related field.
• Proven experience as a telemarketer or in a similar sales role.
• Manage customer rejection effectively.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in direct sales, particularly in selling insurance products, is a plus.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated persistence and a results-driven approach.
