Job Description - Client Service Support

Position summary:

This position is responsible for the daily interaction with our client service supervisor to ensure that are customers are being provided the utmost customer service experience. The Client Service Representative will be engaged in answering

customer requests for services – order tracking on UPS, FedEX, USPS etc. and handling complaints with prompt resolution of problems. The person will also work through an internal system for call center support.

Responsibility & Principal Duties:

This position is responsible for processing orders, data entry, spreadsheet maintenance (Microsoft Excel), database knowledge and general clerical duties which must be completed accurately and timely.

Tasks:

  • Follow up on online orders with issues with shipping carriers – USP, FedEx, USPS etc.
  • Interact with client service rep throughout the day to handle their questions, changes, concerns, special requests, etc.
  • For a client’s rewards program, go through a list of customers to update their correct shipping address in the internal system. If customers aren’t reachable leave a voicemail.
  • Provide daily updates on the tasks that have been completed.
    • Computer – Email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Detailed oriented individual with good multitasking and organization skills
    • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of work situations and interruptions, organize work for appropriate and timely completion, and function independently in the absence of direct supervision.
    • Ability to tactfully respond to requests and inquiries from within the company and from clients.
    • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including employees in other departments and customers
    • Quick thinking and able to make decisions for immediate corrective action ensuring problems are overcome.
    • Self-starter who works well under limited direction. Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and drive.
    • Does not get flustered under pressure, can juggle many tasks at once
    • Does not mind chipping in to get the job done, will always do whatever it takes to exceed client expectations.
