Clinical Specialist

The On-Call Clinical Specialist will provide clinical support, product demonstration, and structured end-user training for assigned medical devices.

The Clinical Specialist must be a licensed Registered Nurse with operating room (OR) experience and strong knowledge of sterile field protocols and intraoperative workflow. 

This role is on an On-Call / project-based engagement and work schedule will be dependent on hospital case bookings and training schedules. This involves frequent hospital and OR exposure and may require travel (for installations) and exposure to surgical environment and medical equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide on-call clinical support during surgical and procedural cases in the OR and assist in proper product setup, troubleshooting, and safe device handling during procedures.


• Ensure compliance with sterile technique and hospital safety protocols and conduct structured product demonstrations and hands-on training for end users (surgeons, nurses, allied healthcare professionals).


• Support new product launches and initial case coverage and assist in organizing and facilitating hospital in-services and CME-related training activities.


• Maintain documentation of training sessions, case coverage, and customer feedback as well as provide post-procedure insights and recommendations to the commercial team.


• Escalate product concerns, adverse events, or technical issues according to company policy and support the commercial team in strengthening clinical relationships with key hospital stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)


• Active PRC Registered Nurse License


• Minimum 2–3 years' Operating Room experience


• Experience assisting in surgical procedures


• Experience in medical device support is an advantage


• Experience conducting training or hospital in-services is preferred
