Cloud Engineer - Cubao - Onsite

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer for a client based in Cubao.

This is an on-site work that may require occasional evening or weekend support.

The Cloud Engineer (OpenShift/OCP) is responsible for managing and maintaining container platforms primarily based on Red Hat OpenShift and related cloud-native technologies. This role ensures the availability, scalability, and performance of containerized applications across hybrid environments, enabling digital transformation journey.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift or equivalent certifications preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies: 

• Strong proficiency in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerization tools.
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiar with DevOps pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automation scripts.
• Solid understanding of Linux system administration and scripting.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters and containerized workloads.
• Build, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles.
• Monitor and ensure cloud service health and resolve technical issues proactively.
• Apply patching, vulnerability remediation, and security configuration baselines.
• Support container orchestration, automation, and system backups.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance.
