Collection Staff

Responsible for collecting outstanding premium receivable from the assigned roster of intermediaries monthly in compliance to the company's standard operating procedure to ensure that we maintain up to date records and current accounts.

Collection

• Prepare and create monthly statement of account.
• Distribute or send out statement of account.
• Collect overdue premiums from intermediaries through follow up call, SMS and email.
• Conduct visit and/or meeting to top and less performing intermediaries.
• Monitors payment and sends demand letter to intermediaries/insured with returned check payment.
• Monitors and sends collection notices to unpaid intermediaries/insured.
• Monitors and send cancellation notices.
• Prepare and coordinate daily collection schedule to third party messengerial services.
• Approves claim with premium issue.

Reconciliation

• Reconcile remittance schedule of the intermediaries upon payment.
• Reconcile and coordinate past due balances of intermediaries assigned.
• Identify unknown payments for proper allocation.

Reports & Monitoring

• Monitors and coordinates returned check payments to intermediaries for replacement.
• Provide status of returned check payments, unapplied and collection from assigned intermediaries.
• Process and/or check premium refunds request for paid and cancelled policies or double paid policies.
• Monitors timeliness of payment application.
• Coordinate payments with no remittance schedule to intermediaries/insured.
• Monitors and updates daily collection report.
• Assess and endorses policies for cancellation due to non-payment and double issuance.
• Endorses policies for Credit Term Extension.
• Monitors and follow up premium payments for policies with claim.
• Provide assessment of collectivity of the accounts assigned for AFDA purposes.
• Reply to client inquiries.
