The Role
We're seeking a strategic and results-driven CX Social Media Team Lead to join our Communications team and help amplify our voice across earned and owned media channels. Reporting directly to the Director of Communications, you'll lead a team of four in executing high-impact media campaigns, building relationships with top-tier journalists, and positioning our brands as authoritative voices in the platform economy, secure transactions, and logistics sectors.

Earned Media & Strategic Communications
Develop and execute earned media campaigns across Freelancer, Escrow.com, and Loadshift
Monitor news cycles for newsjacking opportunities and execute rapid-response media pitches
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, particularly in US markets
Position company executives and subject matter experts for media commentary
Track media coverage and measure campaign effectiveness
Journalist Relations & Content Development
Proactively pitch stories to tier 1, 2, and 3 media outlets
Respond to media inquiries and coordinate spokesperson interviews
Source and develop compelling US and UK customer case studies
Coordinate expert commentary on industry trends and platform economy insights
Awards & Industry Recognition
Research and identify relevant award opportunities across tech, business, and industry sectors
Prepare and submit high-quality award entries with supporting materials
Identify speaking opportunities and industry events for executive visibility
Track award deadlines and manage submission calendar
Social Media & Community Management
Monitor social media channels across all three brands
Respond to public comments, questions, and concerns professionally and promptly
Identify opportunities to amplify positive user stories and platform milestones
Collaborate with social media teams on campaign messaging and content
Team Leadership
Guide and mentor team members on media relations best practices
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure quality control across deliverables
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Coordinate with the Director of Communications on strategic priorities
Location: BGC Taguig City
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Philippine Time)

Experience & Skills
3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or media relations
Proven track record securing earned media coverage in major publications
1-2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
An understanding of the US media landscape and journalist relations
Experience with newsjacking and rapid-response communications
Strong news judgment and ability to identify timely story angles
Technical Competencies
Proficiency with media monitoring and outreach tools
Social media management across multiple platforms
Award submission writing and presentation
Case study development and storytelling
