Compliance Specialist

Position Status: Full Time Salary: Assess the operating effectiveness of controls in place over regulatory compliance requirements (OSFI, CPA, FCAC) Work with various internal support groups to facilitate the remediation of compliance issues. Produce clear and timely reporting on compliance review results. Perform pre-assessment activities to ensure positive client or external audit results. Privacy and compliance incident report generation and follow up activities. Conduct other compliance or privacy related advisory services as required. Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements Understanding of privacy regulations and best practices Strong understanding of credit card operations Minimum 2 years' experience in internal audit, compliance, credit card operations or risk management functions Some travel may be required within Canada. Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities. Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
