Job Description

Mission: Lead and coordinate the Construction area’s activities, in coordination with the Engineering team, Project Management area and all other participating departments.Responsibilities:• Coordinate the activities of projects in progress.• Maintain the relations and assistance with the Business Development, Production and Energy Management areas.• Train and assign the processes and procedures required to safely and effectively execute projects in ACCIONA.• Coordinate and ensure the improvement of the project’s overall quality, timeline, costs and safety through the Root Cause Analysis.• Design and assign the document management procedures and the corresponding records to ensure that they are managed correctly when drafting the project.• Coordinate the project organisation stages, capital and operational expense budgets for all construction areas.• Lead the identification of cost reduction opportunities for its analysis and implementation.• Supervise and guarantee that the project costs are in line with those established in the budget.• Develop and maintain relations with external suppliers.• Provide a response to customers and contractor inquiries.• Train and ensure compliance with the principles of Safety and the Environment for all team members and subcontractor staff, in compliance with the local laws, ACCIONA’s policies, practices and procedures.• Establish and plan the safety analysis and risk reviews.• Implement a compliance system to guarantee that the operational and safety regulations are observed.• Supervise the reports required for internal and external customers, as well as the indicator reports.• Plan and supervise the team’s development. Identify the training needs to drive employee growth and performance.• Supervise the processes required to train the staff of the construction area, including the corresponding certifications.

Required Skills and Competencies

Degrees-Certificates/Training: University degree: Science or Engineering.Further training: Additional training on renewable energy construction projects.Profile: Skills according to the roleLanguages/Level: English/AdvancedYears/Areas of experience: TBD years in similar posts.
