About project:
We are looking for a Contract Specialist for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities:
- As a Contract Specialist you will be reviewing and interpreting contractual agreements, including but not limited to Retail Lease Agreements, Amendments, and Powers of Attorney, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with company objectives and applicable laws;
- You will be drafting and reviewing commercial contracts such as Master Service Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and Statements of Work, ensuring that all legal and operational provisions are accurately reflected;
- You will be providing support in contract negotiations, assisting with the evaluation and revision of proposed terms and conditions to mitigate legal and financial risks while protecting the organization’s interests;
- You will be maintaining and updating contract documentation and records, ensuring version control, proper archiving, and easy retrieval for audits, renewals, or reference;
- You will be assisting in ensuring compliance with relevant contract laws, industry regulations, and internal company policies, escalating any inconsistencies or potential risks when identified.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of hands-on experience as a Contract Specialist or in a role involving the preparation and review of contracts;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Proven ability to draft and interpret contracts, including Master Service Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and Statements of Work, with attention to both legal and business details;
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency when reviewing legal documents;
- Knowledge of best practices in contract negotiation, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in writing and during meetings, ensuring a balanced outcome that serves organizational objectives;
- Strong analytical and legal research skills, including the ability to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in contractual terms;
- Professionalism in handling confidential information, with a high standard of ethics and discretion when dealing with sensitive contractual matters.
