Position Title: Control and Reconciliation Specialist

Job Summary:
 

Checking and reporting of SWIFT activities and findings. KRI tracking. Responsible in the over-all item-for-item balancing of checks. Reconciles and adjusts clearing items in coordination with BRU, branches and concerned units Safekeeping of PDCs for warehousing. Posting of matured checks Technical review of PDCs for warehousing. Works as outsource for PSBank. Ensures that systems are all working. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Coordinates reconciliation and adjustments to BRU, branches, other units of the Bank and other banks.


• Ensures complete back-up of PCHC files daily


• Debits and processes unposted inward regular and return items


• Assists in techminal balancing


• Coordination, Investigation and Processing of PSBank check transactions


• Verification and Investigation of all Unposted Inward Check (per account) before final debit to issuer’s account.


• Encoding of accounting entries for all Returned Checks including Under / Over and the like for reconciliation.


• Ensures that all adjustments and other clearing items intended to our branches have been served to assist BRAD in locating differences and to have zero float items.

Qualifications:

• College graduate (Business course or equivalent with computer know-how)


• Must be willing to be assigned from one section to another and work overtime


• Good communication skills is an advantage


• Must have skills in using adding machines, computers, encoders and other machines used in clearing operations.


• Experience is preferred but not necessary


• With good moral character
