Cost Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cost Engineer to support project cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and financial control. This role will work closely with project, procurement, and finance teams to provide accurate cost insights, identify risks, and support informed project decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain project cost reports, including budget variance analysis, forecasts, actual costs, and monthly expenditure reports.
  


• Develop financial summaries and dashboards covering project costs, profitability, and cash flow projections.


• Monitor project performance against approved budgets and schedules, highlighting risks, deviations, and emerging cost concerns.


• Maintain accurate project cost databases to support timely reporting and decision-making.


• Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, and Finance to gather cost data and provide cost-control insights.


• Support project budgeting, change management, and cost mitigation strategies.
  

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  


• At least 5 years of cost control experience, ideally within mining, oil & gas, construction, or renewable energy projects.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot.


• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Experience with cost/project control systems and ERP platforms, with the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
  


• Willing to work full-time onsite at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Monday to Friday on a morning shift schedule)
