Cost Estimator (Saudi Arabia)

Responsibilities

• Analyze project documentation such as drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine project scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project information and identify cost factors.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for cost estimation.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Utilize cost estimation software and tools to perform calculations and generate reports.
• Monitor project progress and update cost estimates as needed.
• Prepare bid proposals and participate in client meetings and negotiations.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of cost estimates and related data.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and cost factors affecting construction projects in Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Cost Estimator in the construction industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with local regulations and codes related to construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
