Our client was founded in 1981 in Barcelona, Spain and started their business in the Philippines in 2011. They design, develop, manufacture, and market analytical solutions, devising both reagent' tests and analytical instrumentation for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) laboratories as well as for industrial purposes. Their aim is to improve health and well-being around the world.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the company's business strategy in the Philippines, in collaboration with the regional and global team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, Distributors, suppliers, and government officials.
Manage the sales and marketing activities for the company's products, ensuring that revenue targets are met or exceeded.
Oversee the development of new business and regulatory requirements.
Provide regular reports to the regional and global management team, highlighting key performance metrics, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations.
Participating in the budgeting and financial operations of the company
Will oversee and monitor up to 25 distributors nationwide (10 big and the others small)
Travel with the Business Team to all clients
Ensure all operational aspects: imports, inventory, investments, business profitability, customer debt, supplier debt, and credit.
Must-have Skills / Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years in a senior management role, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
Deep understanding of the local market dynamics and regulatory environment
Proven track record in achieving revenue targets, driving sustainable business growth, and delivering strategic results
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong capability to thrive in multicultural and multinational environments, fostering collaboration across diverse teams
Fluency in English and Tagalog
Must be open to travel in different local areas in the Philippines.
Amenability to travel to Barcelona Spain at least once or twice a year.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
Familiarity with SAP and PowerBI is preferred but company can provide trainings.
Exposure to working with Multinational companies.
