Creative & Graphic Designer

Summary:

This role will be working side by side with the MNL based Graphics Designer and will be reporting to the client Marketing Team based in Australia. This role will have focus on brochure creation/design with emphasis on visually engaging graphics.

This role is expected to have excellent efficiency in time management and deliverables and the ability to work independently.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Lead the initiative in designing brochures based on the details and content provided by the Marketing team
• Present ideas/recommendation to that best matches the design goals
• Assist in the production of print/digital collaterals and other materials as requested including production of social media creative assets and video ads
• Assist the marketing team to conceptualize and execute new promotional campaign creative ideas
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales channels
• Work within brand guidelines and editorial style guides – both internal and with corporate partners and tourism boards
• Work through ad hoc design and image manipulation across the business
• Innovatively address project briefs with creative solutions
• Collaborate effectively with team members, both in Sydney and Manila

Qualifications:

• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Minimum four years digital industry experience preferred, experience in travel industry is a plus (publishing/retail)
• A keen eye with a passion for design principles (typography, cropping, colour, grid, etc.)
• Capacity to work with custom-built MS Office templates (Word, Powerpoint)
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with a high sense of initiative, able to work well both in a team or independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills
• Highly-organized and process-driven, with good problem-solving skills both in design and production
• Work well under pressure within tight deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Positive attitude, high energy, proactive, hardworking, and goal oriented
• Must be a team player, receptive to new ideas, and can easily adapt to change
• Be flexible and accommodating and able to go above and beyond the basic expectations when required
