Credit Analyst

JOB MANDATE

To deliver comprehensive and risk-based financial analysis that accurately assesses borrower risk profiles to support prudent and well-informed lending decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Credit Due Diligence

• Assesses financial soundness and repayment capacity of borrowing clients


• Validates and analyses historical financial statements for accuracy and performance trends


• Identifies appropriates assumptions and performs financial projections primarily to evaluate the borrowing client's repayment capacity


• Performs sound reconstruction of financial statements with clear basis and assumptions for adjustments


• Conducts site visits and engages in client discussions together with the relationship manager, especially for new clients, in order to further understand the client’s business operation and validate information obtained versus available financial data

2. Financial and Risk Analysis

• Prepares financial spreadsheets and detailed financial analyses, including ratio assessment, to evaluate the borrowing client’s profitability, liquidity, leverage, and cash flow positions


• Benchmarks company performance against industry peers and historical norms


• Identifies key financial risks along with possible mitigating factors

3. Collaborates with lending units

4.Performs other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Business Management, or any related field


• Fresh graduates with strong analytical and financial foundation


• With 1 year experience in financial statements and ratios
