Credit Controller

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contact all customers with overdue balances each month.

• Record keeping of the interactions with customers

• Check, verify and release orders from various credit queues

• Upload customer invoices to portals eg Ariba

• Apply and reconcile cash received from customers

• Maintain the subledgers

• Corresponds with internal departments to resolve customer-billing issues

• Set up appropriately vetted and authorized customer accounts in SAP

• Liaise with customer contacts to extract payment within appropriate guidelines

• Refers uncollectible items to supervisor

• Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have previous SAP and Ariba knowledge

• Five years' experience in Accounts Receivable

• Bachelor's Degree (Finance)

• Command of the English language

• MS Office – good working knowledge of Excel

• Strong attention to detail

• Problem solving and follow through skills

• Strong communication skills

• Good team player

• Ability to work with minimum supervision

• Ability to work well under pressure

• Ability to demonstrate initiative

• High level of follow up and organization skills
