Job Description: As a Crewing Assistant, you will assist the head office in the management of our vessels’ human resources. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in crewing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguards the established practices to guarantee that personnel profiles and criteria for recruitment and promotion are adhered to and incorporated in the appropriate screening and evaluation


• Assists in filing vital supportive documentation for screening and promotion decisions, as per our practices in the designated filing system

• Monitors and controls the compliment of crews onboard as per established practices and procedures


• Reports deviation to the Crewing Officer

• Ensures the prompt monitoring and filing of all medical crew related case throughout the fleet


• Processing senior officer’s appointments to respective Fleet, by:

  • Lining, proposing, and acquiring approval
  
  
  • Checking National and Flag state certificates to be valid
  
  
  
  

• Liaise with respective vessel by updating status of Senior officers’ replacement


• Organizes and co-ordinates senior officer visitation to the managing office, to assure that company’s policies are followed and Increase crew familiarization towards them


• Support by retrieving the required personnel information or providing such information on any case requiring so, to the:

  • HC, on an ad-hoc basis
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 2 years’ experience in Crewing Department.


• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Detailed oriented with organizational skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Knowledge of NS and/or any experience on ERP systems is considered a plus.
