Job Summary Purpose:
The Cybersecurity Specialist will design, implement, and maintain security policies, plans, and systems to cover all possible security threats.
Responsibilities
• Perform Cybersecurity assessment based on standard frameworks.
• Prepare Cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct Cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Conduct information security reviews and internal audits.
• Assessing potential security threats or breaches and creating vulnerability management and contingency plans.
• Ensure business processes are aligned with cybersecurity requirements.
• Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of security management systems.
• Provide technical advice, recommendations and consultancy on networks, infrastructure, application security.
• Suggesting improvements to existing security systems.
• Training staff for protection against security breaches and risks.
• Regular reporting on Cybersecurity.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, or equivalent disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity and Compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of security governance frameworks & methodologies.
• Experience in risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions.
• Experience with cloud and cloud security.
• Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Purview solution for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) or equivalent.
• A team player that knows how to communicate in layman’s terms and who can analyze, advise on, and solve cybersecurity challenges.
• Fluent in English.
• Relevant certifications such as ISO27K Lead implementer, CISSP, CISM, or CISA is a plus.
