Job Description - Dashboard Support Specialist (Project-based)

The role

This role is responsible for updating and maintaining  existing interactive visualizations and dashboards to future-fitting.   

What you'll be responsible for

  • Adding new features: Upgrading dashboards with new visualizations, functionalities, or interactive elements based on user needs and business requirements. 
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting: Keeping an eye on dashboard functionality, identifying bugs, and resolving issues to ensure smooth operation. 
  • Data integration and updates: Ensuring the dashboard pulls the latest data correctly from various sources and updating data pipelines when needed. 
  • Performance optimization: Enhancing dashboard speed, responsiveness, and efficiency, including optimizing queries and improving load times. 
  • Documentation and reporting: Keeping records of updates, improvements, and issues, along with reporting key metrics to stakeholders. 

We're looking for someone who

  • Has experience in Data Preparation, Data Modeling, Data Visualization, Data Analysis Expressions, Power Query, SQL and Database Management and can operate confidently in PowerBI, Microsoft Excel
  • Brings strong skills in Data Modeling and Transformation, Creating Visual Reports and Dashboards, Understanding Data Analysis Expressions, and Proficiency in Power BI Software
  • Thinks end-to-end and takes ownerships for results
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organization
  • Values collaboration, clarity and low-ego ways of working
