Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, collecting, cleaning, manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting data to uncover market insights that drive value for our clients. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, analytically rigorous, and capable of converting raw data into actionable intelligence. You should have proven experience working with large datasets, building sophisticated spreadsheet models, developing market intelligence dashboards and slide decks, and presenting findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, clean, validate, and transform raw data from diverse sources.
• Use SQL, Python, and spreadsheet tools to manipulate and analyze datasets.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.
• Construct data models and conduct statistical analyses to detect trends and generate insights.
• Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, marketing, sales) to support data-driven decision-making.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure high standards of data quality, security, and consistency.
• Create compelling presentations and slide decks to communicate insights.
• Deliver value to clients through strategic recommendations, automation opportunities, and performance monitoring.
• Support pilot projects and contribute to the development of new data and market intelligence offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, data visualization, or related roles.
• Solid foundation in data modeling, database normalization, and data transformation workflows.
• Strong storytelling abilitycapable of translating technical findings into business insights.
• Experience handling, scraping, and wrangling large datasets from both public and private sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in fast-paced, data-intensive industries or high-growth environments where data insights deliver a competitive edge.
• Background in algorithmic trading, simulation modeling, or betting strategy development.
• Experience modeling and importing structured datasets (e.g., market datasets).

Proficient in:

• Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA, advanced formulas)
