Position Overview

The Pricing & Master Data Analyst will be responsible for managing the flow of master data; maintaining pricing &  account data for Insight EMEA; supporting and coordinating client, vendor, and pricing data requirements; ensuring data setups are executed accurately and in a timely manner and any service level agreements are successfully met.

The team uses master data to amplify the value of Insight’s existing CRM system, as well as facilitate more valuable client experiences. They will be responsible for reviewing the Insight master data database in order to resolve inconsistent data, identify efficiencies in maintaining information, and providing consistent service to the organization as it pertains to Master Data.   These functions will provide clarity in reporting and data mining. 

 The individual is expected to act as an ambassador of the master data team to consult on projects and design consistent processes based on master data policy.

What will you do at Insight

• Execute master data/hierarchy set ups & maintenance.
• Execute database cleansing activities.
• Validate and process all client pricing requests from sales, and all client pricing agreements.
• Perform required analyses to ensure data extracted is accurate and meets the business needs and prioritise any change activity into a program of improvements
• Provide support on data & pricing elements for all ERP systems ( eg. SAP, Qorus, ET)
• Provide modelling based on dynamic data elements available in the data base.
• Analyse trends in the master data database.
• Participate in cross functional teams to complete projects initiated.
• Prepare external and internal reporting for standard SLA.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to establish product level pricing strategy.
• Collaborate with appropriate teams to prepare internal/external reporting and determine desired report content and parameters.
• Maintain pricing analytics, prepare business reports, and recommend changes to support long-term product growth.
• Support the maintenance of material master data related to pricing attribute values.
• Work closely with partners and product management teammates in order to maintain list pricing.
• Establish and maintain timelines and priorities for assigned projects, systems, and applications, working across multiple initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Provide continuous business support to users; developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across all Operations teams & business partners.

What you’ll need to join Insight

• High level of written and spoken English
• Educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent work experience
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build relationships
• Demonstrates creative problem-solving abilities
• Commercially astute and able to effectively communicate complex data
• Good numerical skills, ability to manipulate large volumes of complex data and carry out detailed analysis
• Knowledge of pricing dynamics related to the IT Industry
• Continuously updates personal knowledge of industry-leading technology, learning new skills and adapts to changes in technology
• Good technology skills preferably with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
• Understands general business Operational processes, procedures, and issues. Understands how to articulate these and drive operational excellence initiatives
