Our Information Security & Data Protection Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati City with the role of Data Privacy Office Head .

In this role you will have ensure that the Banks processes around personal data of data subjects are compliant with the applicable data protection rules and regulations, as well as lead the delivery of data privacy programs and the Banks compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

What the role will entail

• Lead in the development of the data privacy policy, procedures, and framework
• Lead in the identification of data protection controls required to address data privacy gaps
• Actively participate in the development of Risk Management Framework to support the Banks Data Privacy (DP) and Information Security Management
• Collaborate with the Business Units (BUs) governance officers to carry out the Privacy Impact Assessment, maintenance of the DP Framework and Breach Notification and reporting
• Review and enhance contracts and help identify gaps in the data privacy provisions
• Lead resolution of requests and complaints sent by employees and customers and identify actions required to resolve such requests and issues in coordination with the different process owners in the organization
• Maintain a repository of all DP breaches and conduct regular analysis of the incidents and recommend process improvement

What were looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in either Cybersecurity or law-related degree is ideal
• Strong working knowledge in data protection laws and regulations such as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and GDPR
• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• At least 10 years of proven work experience in data privacy in the banking industry or similar environment
• Solid knowledgeable in Banking data privacy obligations and Risk Management Processes
• Ability to analyze situations, challenges, and problems with perceptiveness and provide effective insights to address concerns
