Data Privacy Officer (Food Industry) Fulltime: Onsite Urgent

The role entails assisting the Data Protection Officer in fulfilling the obligations outlined in Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and other relevant data protection legislation, including directives from the National Privacy Commission. Data protection matters must be monitored within designated units or offices, among other responsibilities.

Fulltime: Onsite | Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM | Pasig Office | earn up to 25k

Responsibilities:
-Advocate for personal data protection and privacy compliance throughout the organization.
-Ensure timely involvement in all privacy and data protection matters.
-Coordinate with relevant departments to align privacy efforts across the organization.
-Establish and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive privacy management program, including ongoing assessment and updates.
-Stay updated on privacy regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
-Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
-Monitor organizational compliance with privacy regulations.
-Address complaints and inquiries regarding privacy matters promptly.
-Serve as the organization’s representative during inquiries, inspections, or investigations by regulatory authorities.

Additional Functions:
-Inform parties of their rights and responsibilities regarding data privacy.
-Independently ensure compliance with privacy regulations internally.
-Conduct necessary inquiries as required.
-Maintain a register of data processing activities.
-Notify regulatory authorities of processing operations posing specific risks.
-Collaborate with regulatory authorities and Data Protection Officers (DPOs) as needed.
-Provide data privacy mentoring to employees.
-Manage documentation and records related to privacy compliance.
-Represent the organization at relevant events and prepare related documentation.
-Capture visual and audio records of events involving the DPO, as appropriate.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree: Computer Engineer related course
-At least 2years relevant work experience.
-Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
