Data Science Engineer

We're looking for a Data Science Engineer to join our growing and mission driven Data Science team.

About the job

As a Data Scientist working in our Product Services Group (PSG)’s Data Science Team, you are expected to:

• have fundamental knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling.

• have expertise in large language models to deliver innovative solutions for complex problems

• develop and fine-tune LLMs or LLM methods to solve specific business challenges and enhance our data collection strategies

• design, implement, and successfully deliver medium to large-scale data science projects.

• conduct thorough data analysis and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.

• ensure the integration and operationalization of machine learning models into production environments together with the software development engineers.

• collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions.

• communicate complex data-driven insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.

      Academic & Professional Skills :

      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.

      Strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.

      Solid understanding and experience in applying LLMs to solve real-world problems.

      Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in data analysis and machine learning libraries.

      Experience with SQL or data wrangling packages (pandas, dask) for data manipulation and analysis.

      Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and their data services.

      Ability to apply general data science techniques and methodologies to various business problems.

      Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.

      Stellar communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
