Job Description

The Data Insighting role involves creating and maintaining scalable, reliable data pipelines, studying the effectiveness of new data sources, and implementing process improvements for data gathering and processing. This role also encompasses reviewing and improving data systems, managing databases, and leading the development and implementation of ETL processes. The incumbent acts as a data expert, providing advanced analytics and data integrity support, translating analysis results into actionable insights, and building and maintaining dashboards to showcase network performance metrics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform advanced data analysis using statistical techniques, data mining, and data visualization tools to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations within large datasets.

• Extract actionable insights and key findings from data analysis to inform business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and address business challenges.

• Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast future trends, identify potential risks, and optimize business performance.

• Communicate data insights effectively through clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, provide guidance on data collection and analysis methodologies, and ensure data quality and integrity.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements in data analysis techniques, and emerging tools to enhance data insight generation capabilities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures, including data privacy regulations, data security protocols, and ethical data usage practices.

• Disseminate best practices and coach key stakeholders as needed 

• Guides the functional teams in using the Workday dashboard or creating the offline data extracts (summarized data) to prepare in exploring the data 

• Provide guidance on visualization and presentation of insights

• Ensures knowledge transfer of how data insighting and models were created

KPIs:

• Guides the functional teams in using the Workday dashboard or creating the offline data extracts (summarized data) to prepare in exploring the data 

TOP 3-5 DELIVERABLES:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 3 years experience in a similar role within the industry or domain relevant to the organization (telecom).

• Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks for handling and analyzing large-scale datasets.

• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services for data storage, processing, and analysis
