Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Data QA\Test Engineer to join our Data Tribe.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong proficiency with SQL
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
• Plan and execute of quality assurance activities throughout the development life cycle conforming to test strategy and best practices
• Experienced in creating Test Plans, Test Designs, Test Strategy Specifications, Test Cases and Scenarios.
• Experienced in raising, tracking and retesting defects. 
• Experienced in test estimation
• Work collaboratively with offshore teams and interact with business stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to initiatives which support the growth and efficiency of the testing practice 
• Ability to learn new things, ability to gain expertise in complex business systems quickly with attention to detail
• Demonstrable leadership experience in coaching and mentoring people to reach a common goal
• Be able to communicate effectively
• Excellent team player

Key Capabilities/Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience performing software testing within a structured software development cycle
• Data warehouse / ETL testing experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Programming skills in C#/Python
• Sound understanding and experience in Agile/waterfall  frameworks and practices

Nice to Haves

• Banking and finance  industry experience
• Test Automation experience
• ISTQB certification
