Database Administrator - Mid Senior Level

TASQ is seeking a Mid Senior Level Database Administrator to immediately fill an on-site position.

The initial round of pre-screening interviews will be conducted over the phone.

**Position: Database Administrator - Mid Senior Level**

**Job Description:**

- Reduce database downtime and manage configurations to ensure quick query responses

- Offer proactive and reactive data management support and training for users

- Establish, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards

- Conduct regular tests and evaluations to maintain data security, privacy, and integrity

- Monitor database performance, implement necessary changes, and apply updates and patches as needed

- Develop high-availability database systems tailored to the specific roles of end users

- Design and implement databases based on the information needs and perspectives of end users

- Define user access and enable timely data distribution in the appropriate formats

- Utilize high-speed transaction recovery methods and ensure data backup

**Job Qualifications:**

- Bachelors degree in a computer-related field or relevant certification

- 2-5 years of proven experience as a Database Administrator

- Practical experience with database standards and user applications

- Strong knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL

- Familiarity with programming language APIs

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically

- Understanding of database design, documentation, and coding

- Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
