Overview of the division and team
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Cash Management (CCM) team in DB Philippines, covering the Cash Management requirements of Global MNC & Asia subsidiaries of large corporations and selected Large Local Corporates with key local/regional/global decision makers and influencers. In the Philippines, we deliver cutting-edge advisory and best-in-class solutions to the most sophisticated and demanding requirements of these clients, as well as industry specific businesses.
We are currently recruiting for an AVP in the Philippines who will be primarily responsible for CCM Sales in originating fresh opportunities and growing the portfolio. Additionally, the candidate is expected to build pipeline and achieve new business sales goals through effective account planning, strong relationships and implementation of sophisticated selling strategies.
The Sales Specialist works with Relationship Managers, Origination Teams, other product teams and support functions to grow the portfolio, meet sales metrics and revenue targets.
Your key responsibilities
New sales wins, revenue growth and retention in a predefined portfolio as a CCM Product Sales Specialist across all Deutsche Bank’s markets in the APAC region.
Engage key decision makers of the largest and most demanding clients advancing the relationships from 1) access 2) dialogue 3) material relationship 4) pipeline 5) mandate, to 6) strategic advisor
Work closely with other regions and cross-divisional teams across the bank to deliver cutting edge, value added solutions to our clients
Pro-active approach to sales, lead client engagement and pitches / presentations
Respond to RFPs (request for proposal) as the local lead, in coordination with global or regional lead.
Identify and implement revenue opportunities for names assigned via cross-sell opportunities with divisional partners through ongoing discussions with clients
Independently work through end-to-end preparation and coordination of country responses for RFP proposals and presentations, as well as the entire sales process, including following up with client requirements, scoping, solution structuring and supporting mandate execution with Implementation & Service teams.
Work with the Corporate Cash Management and other Business Heads to roll-out initiatives, launch & follow through campaigns, commercialize solutions; locally, regionally, or globally.
Completion of ad-hoc projects related to clients and accounts
Comply with policies related to the CCM sales process and ensure that controls are strictly adhered to
Your skills and experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant cash sales or relationship management experience within a top tier international/ regional bank
Proven track record in managing complex cash deals for multinational corporations and large local corporates
Proven ability to build and develop client relationships, win and close new businesses
Able to identify and drive initiatives that can help support and grow the business
Excellent written and oral communication skills, in English and Filipino.
Strong presentation skills, inter-personal and organizational skills
Able to successfully develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
Strong financial & analytical skills
Knowledge of Corporate Treasury functions and solid knowledge in cash & liquidity management products
Strong client engagement skills with an unwavering focus on client satisfaction and growing business
A strong team player who understands how to leverage various businesses functions/partners to drive business growth
