Job Description - Development Team Leader ( hybrid set up)

Development Team Leader

We're on the lookout for a lead developer who not only excels in

software development best practices but can also guide and mentor others in these

principles. If you're passionate about methodologies like the twelve-factor app, TDD, design

patterns, SOLID principles and OOP, you're exactly the kind of person we're looking for.

Language proficiency is flexible, as we have seasoned developers proficient in .NET, Python,

and Angular materials who can offer support. While experience with DevOps and Azure is a

plus, we're open to helping you develop these skills.

As the Lead Developer, you'll take the reins in instructing the development team, shaping

architecture, maintaining coding standards, and conducting workshops to uplift the skills of

the team, including a small website development unit. Collaboration with other

development teams for joint projects and complementary architecture is a key aspect of this

Role.

Ideally, you're not just a skilled technologist but also a motivating team leader. However,

we're open-minded; we understand that the balance between tech and management

responsibilities can vary, especially with strong people management present in adjacent

Teams.

What you’ll do:

  • 3+ years lead experience Manage and enhance a secure, stable, and well-architected system.
  • Design, develop, and test code for seamless integration with client systems.
  • Extend and document RESTful APIs with precision.
  • Utilize open-source tools, libraries, and frameworks for cost-effective

solutions.

  • Develop modular, testable subsystems for easy replacement.
  • Work in an agile manner, delivering capabilities swiftly to the broader

business.

  • Lead a team, nurturing skills and capabilities based on industry best

practices.

  • Address bugs and implement system enhancements.

Essential skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in transactional systems development using OOP

(e.g., .NET, Python, Java).

  • Demonstrable expertise in building Service-oriented/microservices

architectures.

  • Proven leadership experience or strong potential as a Senior Developer.
  • Familiarity with XML/XSD, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Sensitivity to the needs and differences of fellow developers.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Desired skills:

  • Ability to train team members at varying levels.
  • Experience with Azure (3-4 years), or container deployment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php180,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Early shift
