Job Description - Digital Marketing Specialist

Position: Digital Marketing Specialist Work shift: 8PM to 5AM (PH Time) | Monday to FridayWork setup: Hybrid (RTO: 1 or 2x in a week)Work location: Ortigas, Pasig CityType of employment: Full timeJob Description:1. Support in executing digital marketing tasks (SEO, social media, blogging, email marketing, inbound marketing such as marketing automation, contact database management etc.) within standards. ● Assisting business owners, marketers and agency clients in managing marketing campaigns with tasks like SEO, social media, email marketing, reporting, lead conversion, marketing automation, and contact database management, document formatting, reputation management, blogging etc.● Performing an assessment of the client businesses based on inbound marketing, contrast it with competitors and objectives set by the client● Understanding the client’s marketing plan and developing and implementing strategies to attract, convert and connect, that are aligned to the business brand and target markets ● Regularly communicating with the senior marketers, developers, designs and the client in-person and via Slack, Skype, Active Collab or Zoom. ● Presenting findings and recommendations based on marketing audits, reports, research and, strategies ● Performing market and competitor research tasks to assist the team and/or clients with decision-making 2. Get, want and have the capacity to fulfill the requirements of the seat ● Understanding and accomplishing training necessary to equip him or her with skills required for digital marketing tasks ● Increasing skill sets as team members grows within the digital marketing team ● Eventually specialize in one area of digital marketing: Inbound Marketing, Conversion Rate Optimization or Email Marketing 3. Fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators ● Monitoring and evaluating marketing processes and activities performed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually ● Collaborating with various departments (Sales, Design and Web Development) to meet the marketing goals ● Generating and interpreting marketing reports into actionable strategies based on data for traffic, social media engagement, blog views, conversion rates, email marketing KPIs, turnaround times and quality scores 4. Execute assigned tasks for clients or under internal innovation projects, identified awards, and/or serve as back-up/cover resource for key clients when needed●Supporting the team and department in testing new marketing automation software, processes or strategies and in documenting and sharing knowledge ● Learning and innovating with the client and StraightArrow tools for marketing automation such as WordPress, Shopify, Hubspot, Marketo, MailChimp, HootSuite, Google Analytics, Zoho, Social Media Platforms● Supporting the team and department in submitting quality entries to award-winning bodies for web design, content marketing, email marketing, lead conversion, sales enablement, etc. ● Accomplishing training in key client processes ● Providing back up support for key clients when needed such as during a Maternity Leave or Sick Leave of a marketer working in a key account.Requirements:Education & Experience: Bachelor’s / College Degree - preferred Majors in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing Experience ● Minimum of 2-3 year’s worth of work experience or in digital marketing. ● Experience with using digital marketing apps for social media, SEO, blogging, and email. ● Experience using HubSpot is a big plus. ● Communicating with foreign customers/counterparts via Skype, email, in-person. ● Experience with collaborating on productions for creative/marketing collateral like PR, email marketing, website, social media etc.Qualities: 1. Above-average English communication skills both written and verbal 2. Above-average task and time management, judgment and analytical skills 3. Excellent customer service, organizational and multitasking skills 4. Proficient in content writing, social media, search engine marketing, research or email marketing 5.
