The Digital Media Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital media strategies to boost our brand’s online visibility and engagement. This role involves creating compelling content for all digital assets, managing social media interactions, and optimizing digital campaigns. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, a skilled communicator, and an analytical problem solver.
COMPETENCIES
Content Creation - Proficiency in using various content creation tools, including intermediate graphic design and video editing software.
- Develop high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content for various digital platforms including social media pages and websites.
- Collaborate with the design team to create multimedia content such as videos and images.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and visual style.
Social Media Management - Engages with the community and manages interactions professionally.
- Manage and monitor all social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube) and engage with the online community.
- Respond to inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Facilitate potential sales from those coming from inbox messages.
- Schedule and publish posts, ensuring optimal timing and frequency to maximize reach and engagement.
Website Management - Demonstrates strategic thinking in optimizing website performance. · Oversee the management and updating of the company website.

- Work with web developers to improve site functionality and user experience.

- Prepare detailed reports on social media and content performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor website analytics and make data-driven decisions to enhance site performance.
- Utilize analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments.
Effective Collaboration - Cascades instructions, coordinating activities, and support smooth workplace communication.
- Work closely with all marketing teams to align digital strategies with overall marketing objectives.
- Coordinate with other business units and their departments to ensure consistent messaging and support broader business initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital media.
Community Engagement - Independently manages community interactions and engagement activities.
- Foster and grow online communities by actively engaging with followers and building relationships.
- Create content to increase community engagement
Crisis Management - Independently manages digital media crisis response with minimal supervision
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and respond to the crisis on social media
- Develop and implement initial social media crisis response plans
Qualification Standards
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or any business related courses.
