The Director of Operations is responsible for planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress. The Director of Operations is responsible for planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of business ensuring all business objectives are met/exceeded.

• They must develop long-term operational strategies, working closely with senior management to meet/exceed company objectives.
• Other responsibilities include supervising staff from different departments and providing constructive feedback by providing guidance to team members, addressing performance issues., ensuring all systems operate smoothly and align with training and quality standards, and defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for their organization.

• Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
• Providing a broad range of services needed by policy owners/clients and field force to maintain in-force policies or new business. Develops/implements complaint resolution procedures. Provides guidance on the most complex claims. Develops short/long-term customer service objectives and continuously monitors procedures to ensure these are met by staff. Ensures area is staffed and trained to handle inquiries from agents and policy owners. Stays abreast of state and federal regulations and their impact on the industry. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
• Requires a BA/BS; 7 years leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Advanced strategic planning, organizational, managerial and leadership skills required.
