The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion across the Philippines. This role leads the sale of RPO, recruitment, and talent solutions - building pipeline, closing deals, and expanding market presence.
This role plays a key part in executing go-to-market strategies while working closely with regional leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business & Revenue Growth
Drive new client acquisition across the Philippines market (RPO, project hiring, recruitment operations)
Build and convert a self-generated pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Lead consultative sales engagements with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Operations leaders
Meet and exceed revenue and growth targets
Solution Selling
Position Philippine-based delivery as a scalable, cost-efficient advantage
Design commercially viable solutions with internal teams
Ensure alignment between client commitments and delivery capability
Market Growth & GTM Execution
Execute territory and account strategies to penetrate target clients
Maintain strong pipeline discipline and forecasting accuracy
Provide market insights to refine targeting and positioning
Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Growth roles, including selling to mid‑market or enterprise clients.
Strong track record in new business acquisition for service-based solutions such as: (a) RPO or recruitment outsourcing; (b) Talent acquisition or recruitment operations services; (c) HR services or BPO solutions
Existing network or book of business within HR, TA, BPO, or outsourcing is strongly preferred
Experience selling complex, multi-service solutions in a consultative environment
Proven track record of closing high-value deals and engaging senior stakeholders
Familiarity with global contracting structures (MSAs, SOWs), commercial pricing frameworks, and SLAs.
Willingness to travel based on business needs.
Preferred
Background in organizations with PH delivery centers (RPO, HR BPO, shared services).
Experience shaping GTM strategies at a country or regional level.
Exposure to HR tech ecosystems or enterprise platforms (e.g., Workday, Salesforce).
Experience mentoring or contributing to the development of business development teams
