Draftsperson / Drafter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson/Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating and revising detailed technical drawings and plans for projects across various industries. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and quality of designs, adhering to project specifications and timelines.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics using Revit software.


• Revise and update existing designs based on project requirements or stakeholder feedback.


• Interpret and translate sketches, specifications, and technical data into comprehensive drawings.


• Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.


• Maintain and organize drawing files, documentation, and version control systems.


• Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.


• Stay updated on advancements in drafting tools, techniques, and best practices.


• Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.


• Experience: 2-5 years of professional drafting experience, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing, or engineering].


• Proficiency in Revit software


• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, symbols, and conventions.


• Basic knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulations.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.


• Experience with 3D modeling software.


• Knowledge of project management tools or systems.
