• This role combines product research, e-commerce administration, website support, and paid advertising.
• The ideal candidate is smart, analytical, organized, proactive, and comfortable using research, technology, and AI tools to identify and test potential e-commerce opportunities.

Objective of this role:

• Research and identify viable, trending, and potentially profitable dropshipping products.
• Support the development and setup of a Shopify store.
• Assist with product listings, product information, and online merchandising.
• Create, launch, monitor, and optimize Facebook and TikTok advertising campaigns.
• Use AI tools to accelerate product research, market analysis, content creation, and marketing workflows.
• Help establish a repeatable and organized process for identifying and testing products.

Responsibilities:

Product Research

• Research trending and potentially profitable dropshipping products.
• Identify products with strong demand and commercial potential.
• Research competitors, product pricing, positioning, and advertising activity.
• Use AI tools to identify product trends and market opportunities.
• Organize product research and clearly communicate findings and recommendations.

Shopify & E-commerce Administration

• Assist with setting up and organizing the Shopify store.
• Add and maintain product listings.
• Enter product descriptions, pricing, images, and other relevant information.
• Help organize the store structure and product catalog.
• Identify and communicate issues with the website or customer purchasing experience.
• Support basic store updates and ongoing e-commerce administration.

Paid Advertising

• Create, manage, monitor, and optimize advertising campaigns on Facebook/Meta and TikTok.
• Assist with developing ad creatives, copy, and product promotions.
• Monitor campaign performance and relevant metrics.
• Identify underperforming campaigns and opportunities for optimization.
• Test different products, creatives, audiences, and campaign approaches.
• Use performance data to determine which products and campaigns should receive additional attention.

AI-Assisted E-commerce Operations

• Use ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and other AI tools for product research and analysis.
• Use AI to assist with product descriptions, ad copy, creative concepts, and market research.
• Identify repetitive e-commerce tasks that can be improved or automated.
• Explore AI tools that can improve research, advertising, and store management efficiency.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Maintain organized product, supplier, advertising, and store information.
• Track products being researched, tested, launched, and evaluated.
• Maintain spreadsheets and other tracking systems.
• Support general e-commerce administrative tasks as needed.
• Communicate progress, issues, and opportunities regularly.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Shopify or a comparable e-commerce platform is required.
• Hands-on experience creating, managing, and optimizing Facebook/Meta and/or TikTok advertising campaigns is required.
• Strong product and online research skills.
• Ability to identify potentially profitable products through market and competitor research.
• Strong computer and administrative skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
• Ability to learn new software and e-commerce tools quickly.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• No specific industry experience is required.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Working knowledge of dropshipping and online product sourcing.
• Capable of launching and organizing a Shopify store from the ground up.
• Familiarity with Shopify product listings, apps, themes, and day-to-day store administration.
• Skilled in managing Meta and/or TikTok advertising campaigns for e-commerce products.
• Familiarity with product testing, paid traffic, and evaluating campaign performance.
• Practical use of AI for product research, market analysis, advertising, content creation, or workflow automation.
• Understanding of e-commerce analytics, conversion metrics, and customer behavior.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets to track products, costs, revenue, advertising performance, and other business data.
• Knowledge of supplier research, sourcing, and product fulfillment is a plus.
