Job Description - Due Diligence Analyst

Job Expectations:

  • Position Type: Experienced - Mid/Senior
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Direct Hire)
  • Work Setup & Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) - Makati
  • Work Schedule: Weekdays; Shifting/Night Shift
  • Number of Headcounts: 10+ FTEs
  • Industry: BPO/Shared Services

About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced KYC/Due Diligence Analyst to join our client's team and support the delivery of high-quality customer due diligence and AML compliance processes. In this role, you will handle customer identification and verification, perform risk assessments, and analyze client relationships to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. You will play a key role in reviewing due diligence reports, managing risk ratings, and supporting escalations for complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform customer identification and verification procedures in line with AML requirements.
  • Conduct research and risk assessments for moderately to highly complex customer profiles.
  • Analyze customer relationships and documentation to establish true identity and risk exposure.
  • Review due diligence reports and validate risk ratings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle periodic reviews and reassess customer risk levels as needed.
  • Support and manage escalations, including complex cases and re-evaluated risks.
  • Collaborate with teams and provide guidance or oversight on due diligence processes.
  • Assist in training and supporting junior analysts when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or any related field.
  • 3+ years of solid experience in AML/CFT, financial crime investigations, or related roles.
  • Experience in Customer Due Diligence (CDD) for both individual and corporate clients is a must.
  • Strong understanding of AML laws, regulations, and compliance best practices.
  • Proficient in using AML monitoring systems and related tools.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills.
  • Can start immediately, if possible.
