Job Description - Employee Relations (ER) Officer

As we expand our services and enhance the user experience, we seek a dynamic and experienced ER Officer to join our growing team.

Administrative Investigations: Conduct fair, objective, and well-documented investigations into allegations of employee misconduct, workplace complaints, or policy violations. Gather and evaluate evidence, conduct interviews, and prepare investigation findings.

Disciplinary Case Management: Manage the end-to-end disciplinary process and ensure compliance with procedural due process requirements.

Grievance Handling & Conflict Resolution: Serve as a primary contact for employee grievances and workplace concerns. Facilitate mediation and conflict resolution between employees and leaders to support fair and constructive outcomes.

Leadership Advisory: Provide guidance to managers and leaders on employee relations issues, disciplinary procedures, workplace conduct concerns, and policy interpretation.

Policy Interpretation & Implementation: Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies. Provide guidance to leaders and employees on proper policy interpretation and compliance.

Preventive Employee Relations: Identify trends and recurring workplace concerns that may present organizational risk. Recommend proactive interventions, policy improvements, or leadership support initiatives.

Legal & Compliance Coordination: Collaborate closely with Legal to ensure disciplinary actions and investigations are compliant with applicable labor laws and internal policies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Legal Management, or a related field

Experience

  • Typically 2-4 years of experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or HR Business Partnering
  • Experience handling administrative investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance management
  • Experience in creating and implementing relevant workplace policies on effective Employee Relations

Preferred

  • Experience working closely with Legal on employee relations cases
  • Exposure to labor-management relations and workplace investigations
