Universal RobinaCorporation is looking for OccupationalSafety, Health and Environment Engineer (OSHE Engineer) .

Reporting under thePlant Manager, the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Engineer (OSHEEngineer) shall oversee all Plant metrics and initiatives related tooccupational safety, health and environment, as prescribed in pertinent laws,regulations, standards and company policies. The OSHE Engineer shall manage andreport key performance indicators under the function, and provide action plans& strategies in maintaining and improving such metrics.

II. DUTIES,RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

TheOccupational Safety, Health and Environment Engineer shall:

1. Consolidate, manage, and synthesize data pointsand performance metrics related to occupational safety, health, and environmentincluding, but not limited to, incident rates, loss time incidences, water andenergy usage ratios, and regulatory compliances as prescribed by the LocalGovernment Unit and executive agencies and branches including but not limitedto Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Laborand Employment (DOLE), and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG);

2. Create strategies and action plans relevant tooccupational safety, health, and environment, and monitor implementation ofsuch action plans; and coordinate such action plans to Department Heads and/ortheir authorized representatives;

3. Champion behavioural-based safety, and conductnecessary and relevant training programs related to increasing awareness,continuous improvements, and enforcing policies related to occupational safety,health, and environment;

4. Conduct investigations on violations andincidences related to occupational safety, health, and environment; and preparereports within the prescribed timelines or as needed.

5. Coordinate with Department Heads in implementingpolicies and internal memorandum related to occupational safety, health, andenvironment; and alignment with updates on implemented policies and standardsrelated but not limited to EHS Hazard Idenfitication and Risk Assessment, GoodManufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC;

6. Form part of the Internal Audit team and ensurecompliance on, established management systems, including but not limited to,Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL,FSSC;

7. Manage allocation, disbursement, purchasing andliquidation of budget for programs related to occupational safety, health, andenvironment;

8. Provide consultation, coaching and mentoring oitems related to occupational safety, health, and environment;

9. Represent the organization, as needed, infunctional congregations, especially in liaising with Operational Governanceand Sustainability Group, and other OSHE Engineers from different URC BCFGPlants;

10. Represent the organization, as needed, indialogues and partnership activities with the Local Government Units and otherexecutive branches on items related to occupational safety, health, andenvironment;

11. Manage, implement and lead execution ofprograms and processes for emergency preparedness, pollution control, disasterrisk management, pandemic or epidemic business continuity plan, and otherrelevant function;

12. Perform other tasks and functions as may bedelegated by the Immediate Superior.

III. REPORTING LINES

1. Functional and administrative reporting line assubordinate of Plant Manager

2. Coordinates closely with OSHE Group Manager

IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

1. Graduate of any engineering course, preferablywith license/certification on Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical and Civil Engineering;

2. With at least one (1) year of experience inmanaging and handling occupational safety, health and environment process, incompliance with relevant management systems in the food industry, including butnot limited to EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC, is an advantage;

3. Knowledge in pollution control, risk anddisaster management, emergency preparedness, and pandemic or epidemic businesscontinuity plan, is an advantage;

4. Aptitude in environmental and occupational lawsand regulations is an advantage;

5. With heightened sense of urgency, organizedwork patterns, keen to details, and has a good communication, interpersonal andbusiness presentation skills; and

6. With proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum), and SAP; and

7. Has a team-player, customer-centric, andinnovative work attitude.
