Job Description:

Planning

• Allocate budget for preventive maintenance and engineering projects.
• Approve schedules, work plans, and project documents.

Leading

• Guide subordinates in decision-making based on schedules and guidelines.
• Conduct briefings and meetings to assess target achievements.
• Align subordinates' objectives with department goals.
• Supervise and ensure task performance.
• Conduct performance appraisals and recommend developmental activities.
• Train subordinates on new and existing systems.
• Ensure understanding and acceptance of assigned tasks and performance standards.
• Monitor and develop performance standards based on objectives.
• Communicate changes in routines and procedures.

Organizing

• Implement SOPs for handling complaints and work orders.
• Analyze tasks to maximize manpower and simplify processes.
• Coordinate tasks and projects with other departments.
• Interview, select, and evaluate candidates for positions.
• Assess new systems and recommend modifications.
• Delegate routine tasks to subordinates.

Controlling

• Ensure work orders are completed on schedule.
• Evaluate and improve daily tasks of subordinates.
• Develop guidelines for career development and monitor performance.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation and safety measures.
• Enforce employee discipline according to company rules.

Technical

• Approve construction plans, cost estimates, and technical innovations.
• Recommend machine and spare parts modifications for savings and efficiency.
• Approve lubricants and chemicals for machine efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Licensed Mechanical/Electrical Engineer.
2. Five (5) years experience in industrial plant as assistant plant engineer or related position, preferably in a food manufacturing firm.
3. Preferred with knowledge and good understanding or have attended/received ISO, FOOD Safety (cGMP, HACCP, Codex, SOP, SSOP) Halal Assurance

Special Skills:

1. Knowledge in AutoCAD 2000, Microsoft project and office 2000.
2. Knowledge in processing permits renewal.
3. Knowledge in project management and industrial plant maintenance.
