Job Description

Successful candidate will be responsible for the validation activities of custom switch-mode AC/DC and DC/DC power converters. With engineer’s support, this candidate will design and build basic circuits, organize recorded design validation test data, and prepare reports. The candidate must be able to inspect and debug electronic circuits, test their functions and limits, and perform repairs/rework of printed circuit boards.

  • Support design engineers with design verification test (DVT) including thermal and reliability testing
  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify power supply prototypes and troubleshoot electrical circuits down to the component level.
  • Solder and rework (fine pitch components, 0201, 0402, QFNs, BGAs, etc.)
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry with hands-on experience with testing PCBAs
  • Power supply and/or high voltage experience a plus 
  • Hands-on experience with constructing and building electronics testing fixtures/equipment
  • Ability to execute a test independently, from setup to result reporting is necessary
  • Familiarity in the operation of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscope, voltage and current sensors, electronic loads etc
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks with minimum supervision
  • Experience in validation with strong debug skills, problem tracking 
  • Experience with test data collection and analysis, strong sense of quality 
  • Able to read and understand electronic schematic 
  • Experience with test plan & test procedure development is a plus

Additional information (Location)

• Based in The Philippines 

• Must be amenable to future RTO/Hybrid onsite reporting in Ortigas, Metro Manila
