Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The Sr. Executive, Financial Institutional Sales is responsible for driving business growth within the financial services sector by acquiring new corporate clients, developing strategic sales opportunities, and managing key accounts. The role focuses on building a strong sales pipeline, presenting payment or technology solutions to banks and financial institutions, and closing deals that meet revenue targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting new clients in the designated corporate business industry (e.g., Banking/Telecom).
  • Creating new business models to redefine economic value for the company.
  • Generating ideas and concepts for clients regarding new project development.
  • Meeting and exceeding assigned sales productivity goals.
  • Developing and managing pipelines to meet or exceed group targets.
  • Initiating sales processes such as scheduling appointments, making presentations, and understanding account requirements.
  • Overseeing existing project development with clients.
  • Monitoring competitive products and contributing market-related information.
  • Extensive sales experience (preferably from IT, Solutions, or related businesses).
  • Handling prospecting of new accounts for the assigned industry.
  • Managing confirmed accounts to ensure profitability and business continuity.
  • Maintaining client relationships across various departments and levels.
  • Performing administrative tasks and proper documentation for project and client lifecycle management.
  • Working individually and with a team to meet sales productivity goals and quotas.
  • Preparing quotations, BID documents, and gathering initial requirements.
  • Contributing to market expansion and product development insights.
  • Structuring financially and strategically viable deals to meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Responsibilities may vary based on the company's business needs.

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree holder in any field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in corporate sales, financial services, IT, solutions, or related industries.
  • Experience in Payment Services/Fintech or related industries is an advantage but not strictly required; candidates with strong general corporate sales experience are also acceptable.
  • Technical or product knowledge is not mandatory, as product and solution training will be provided by the company.
  • CRM proficiency is not required, and there is no specific CRM platform currently mandated for this role.
  • Must be willing to perform fieldwork when necessary to meet clients and develop business opportunities.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (4 days onsite and 1 day WFH)
