F5 Load Balancer

We are seeking a highly skilled F5 Load Balancer Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, configuration, and management of F5 BIG-IP systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of our applications and network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, ASM, and APM modules to ensure high availability and load distribution of applications.

• Design and implement application delivery solutions that optimize performance, security, and availability.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to F5 load balancing, SSL offloading, traffic management, and application health checks.

• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to deliver robust and secure solutions.

• Maintain and update firmware, apply patches, and ensure compliance with industry security standards.

• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for operational consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, and APM modules.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, routing, and switching.

• Proficiency in iRules and traffic scripting for customized load balancing and traffic control.

• Familiarity with application delivery, SSL/TLS encryption, and security best practices.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Relevant certifications such as F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) or higher are preferred.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
